Use 1.25 PVC and M4x16 bolts and nuts to assemble the project. This design has been modified from someone else's work because I prefer metric fasteners. For a filament pass-through, recommend using this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3397576. For holding a humidity sensor in the box, use this thing instead: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3394439. To store filament, I used a 44-quart ziplock weather-shield storage box that provided 16 inches of usable rod width, enough space for five spools with some extra room to spare. I also designed a shallow version that adds another inch, which made all the difference in fitting an additional 2.75 spool.
