The pass-through didn't have a matching backing plate like the the rod holder did. There are identical recesses for the nuts so you can choose which way you want the screw to go. Make sure to pay attention to how close the plates are when screwing it together. The PLA will act like its threaded and not allow any adjustment without removing the screw entirely.
