I discovered that a bowden tube quick release installed directly to a dry box eliminated the grinding of the filament edges on the brass, a common problem. This straightforward solution allows unobstructed feeding off the spool. The outside threads measure 1/2-13 and the inside threads are standard 6mm threads for easy connection.
