You can attach these parts to any kind of storage enclosure for filament. The threaded rod I used is specifically designed for a 10mm diameter rod. The backplates will be installed on the opposite side of the mounts, allowing the screws to securely hold everything in place without the risk of them pulling through the sides of the enclosure. I ensured that all components were tightly secured using M3 nuts and bolts. Make sure you install the filament guides so that when the extruder pulls on the filament, it does not put too much strain on the filament itself.
