This stepper motor shield for Arduino is specifically designed for use with the DRV8825. The DRV8825 is widely used in stepper drivers for 3D printers, known for its adjustable current control that allows users to set the maximum current output to their motors. For detailed driver information and instructions on setting motor current, refer to the Pololu website at https://www.pololu.com/product/2133. The 3D printed shield has all holes accurately positioned for inserting components as shown in the pictures provided. To assemble this shield, you will need the following components: 2 DRV8825 Stepper Motor Drivers available on Amazon 2 100 uF Electrolytic Capacitors from Adafruit at https://www.adafruit.com/product/2193 5 Screw Terminals with a 0.2 in pitch from Radio Shack 6 sets of 3 Male 0.1 in pitch headers from Adafruit at https://www.adafruit.com/product/392 1 set of Arduino Stacking Headers from Adafruit at https://www.adafruit.com/product/85 3 Jumpers with a 0.1 in pitch Hookup Wire: I used wire wrap wire; however, it is essential to use wire that is rated for the motor amperage.
