This is an electronic drum pad based on Frank Piesik's e-drum trigger pad. See my project here: http://blog.rossbrigoli.com/2016/05/3d-printed-electronic-drum-pads.html. Tests show its effectiveness in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xy9IsXz49gI. Check out the drum kit in action at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXc9bh-EKNw. Non-Printed Parts Required: 4 stainless steel hex-head bolts M6 25mm, 3 stainless steel hex-head bolts M6 30mm, 4 stainless steel hex-head bolts M6 60mm, 1 stainless steel hex-bolt M6 40 mm for rack mount, 1 piezo-electric trigger assembly, 4 stainless steel rods/threaded rods M6 230mm, and 1 8" mesh head. Print Settings Used: RepRap printer brand, Kossel Mini printer model, no rafts or supports, 0.4 nozzle with 0.3 layer height, 30% infill, and over-extrusion by 20% for rims and 10% for the rest to make prints stronger. The shell is divided into three parts but can still be printed all at once if they fit in the print bed, taking around 10 hours depending on print speed. Total print time for all parts is approximately 25 hours. After printing, assemble the parts based on attached photos.
