Drum Motor/ Generator Stator Mold (Outrunner)

This is a design for a 6.7" diameter Drum Motor (BLDC) stator mold. It represents an effective alternative to silicone steel or metglas/ceramic type stators for the home inventor/builder. Follow the same directions as posted for this Thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2423846. This particular design is for a outrunner instead of a inrunner. This is a smaller design. Your stator should come out to an inch thick. All other details for a completed motor is up to you. Printing with 1.2mm walls, .8mm top and bottom layers, 30% infill, and .2mm layers should give you parts that can be reused. Good Luck and Have Fun! Materials List: You will need a piece of board (9" X 9") to mount this project to, 6-32 X 1" bolts to mount to board, masking tape to coat inside areas, release agent to lightly coat over masking tape (I use Vaseline petroleum jelly), tipped applicator to apply 2-part epoxy, small funnel to fill mold with coated #8 soft steel shotshell pellets. Using a vise grip or press use this tool to squeeze out the stator. Be patient and work your way around the piece moving it out a little at a time.
