Drum filament 1,75mm sample - Revolver
cults3d
I decided to create a small sample of filaments, as the large space occupied by the rolls made it difficult to see color samples without opening many boxes. The result was this device, which can be complicated to print if the printer is not properly calibrated - the filament may not fit well into the slots or come out improperly. To check the correct passage of the filament, I suggest printing a small section of the revolver. This will ensure that everything works smoothly before assembling the entire device. The assembly process is straightforward: simply paste the teeth of the cover with the teeth of the support, taking care not to get glue on the wall of the revolver. A small amount of cyanoacrylate glue is sufficient for this task. Once assembled, using the device is easy: introduce a filament into one of the boxes and cut it when there are about 8 mm left before reaching the end. Then, use a fine tool to push the remaining filament through the hole. As always, I've included the FreeCad file for modification purposes, allowing you to customize the design as needed.
