Drum Camera Mount for Samsung S5 Phone. Secures perfectly on my tenor drum's shoulder harness. Also suitable for other applications. The clip can be used with a case, so either print it as is or adjust its width accordingly. I utilized some spare bolts to assemble the mount. Although I'm unsure of their exact size, the smaller holes measure 4 mm in diameter and there are two larger ones that are 5 mm across. Solid wire was used to attach it to the harness. Be sure to adjust your printer settings for a snug fit, as friction will hold everything in place. All dimensions are precise. You can download STL files for printing or edit them using 123D. This is my first design on Thingiverse, so please share your feedback to help me improve future projects. Print Settings Printer: Prusa I3 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.1mm Infill: Varies Notes: You might need to turn objects upside down when printing without supports, but it's doable. For outdoor use, print in ABS plastic. I used the following infill percentages: mountingPlate-35%, clip-15%, shoulder-100%, ulnaAndRadius-30%. Post-Printing You may have to drill out the holes for the bolts to fit. How I Designed This I created this design using 123D, which is a great tool - highly recommended. It's incredibly simple yet powerful.
