Drosophila Wing frequence measurement station
thingiverse
I designed this "station" in order to help positioning the equipment, pipette tip with the fly and mirror at fixed positions, in order to measure the frequency of the beating of the wings at the same conditions every time, for research purposes. This is only prototype #2 so if you have any suggestions to improve this design, please let me know in the comments. I printed both parts at the same time with a 30% infill using a 2.85mm Premium PLA Neat filament at 0.25mm resolution. It took me 2h16 min and it used 33g of filament. Aug 11 2021 update - I have included a design update to avoid the machine tilting to the front.
