Synth Dropship retexture for Dark Interval mod. The Combine relies on this biomechanoid unit to transport its soldiers beyond city limits. Originally conceived by Valve artist Dhabih Eng, the design was later revamped into a crustacean-like dropship courtesy of Ted Backman's expertise. We adapted the mesh originally crafted for HL2, but extensively reworked its wrapping and remade the texture from scratch. The result is a 1024x1024 composite diffuse map, enhanced with normal mapping, self-illumination effects, emission, and phong lighting capabilities.
