Drop & Throw

This demonstration is used to teach ballistic motion and free fall concepts. It starts with a question: "If I throw a ball and drop another at the same time, which one will hit the ground first?" The student's measuring tool is their hearing, as they listen for two distinct sounds (tap tap) or just one sound (a single tap). To complete this experiment, you will also need 2 small marbles.
