Update 1/11/15: Released version 2.0 of Whorl Wheel Part with New .SCAD File for Personalization. Updated 1/5/15: Corrected Wheel File Error, Removing Embossed Name to Ensure Smooth Printing. Spinning with an 8mm shaft drop spindle in mind, you may need to manually perfect it post-printing. To fit the spindle within the whorl's hole, consider reaming it out to 3mm. Secure the two spindle halves together using a glued filament bond or acetone mixture on a printed core piece. Printing three pieces this way enables successful printouts on small workbeds despite their cylindrical shape lying flat. Remove support material with a 3mm drill bit, and insert filament for seamless bonding.
