Drop-Leg Glock Holster
thingiverse
This is a custom Drop-Leg holster designed for the Glock 17, but it should fit other models as well, although I haven't tested it thoroughly yet. The idea behind this project came from the "Glock Holster" by PrintedFirearm, which I decided to remix because its original design had several weak points that needed improvement. Firstly, the lock on the original holster was extremely thin and prone to breaking easily due to its steep angle, often blocking the gun from entering the holster in the process. Secondly, the screw holes were tiny, making it difficult to use M4 screws without stripping them. Lastly, the lock holders were also quite thin. To address these issues, I made a series of improvements by thickening certain parts of the holster, reducing the steep angle of the lock, and resizing the screw holes to accommodate M4 screws. Additionally, I added a grip pattern to the lock for better traction. Finally, I designed the leg plate part, which serves as a connection between the Glock holster and the nylon straps that secure it to your leg and belt. This feature is particularly useful because it allows you to adjust the angle of the gun to your liking using variable screw holes.
