Drop in Mega XL adapter for Nerf Rival Pilot
thingiverse
So this is basically just a big jolt. Should hit about 50/55 FPS. Assembly should be pretty easy, just take off the front end of the pilot with a screwdriver and slide the new barrel on. It takes a decent bit of force to get it on so just be carefull not to accidentally remove the O ring when you are putting the part on. I included 3 STLs and 3 STEPs: one with embossed cosmetic barrel, one with nonembossed cosmetic barrel, and one without the cosmetic barrel. Feel free to remix, add your own logos, or try to improve on the design for more FPS. As far as print orientation goes I have been printing the part with the arrows on the barrel pointing up but it would probably print just as well upside down I just never wound up putting that to the test. I set up the overhang angle on mine to have a tiny bit of support but besides the main fin bit you really dont need too much support material. At least 3 walls recomended. My prints were done on a Prusa so your mileage may vary depending on what printer you are using. Make sure to print in orange for safety so that your blaster is not confused for anything other than a toy. You might need to scale it to 2540x by the way in order for it to be sized properly. If that doesnt work on your slicer just try and use whatever multiple of 2.54 gets you to a height of about 6.77 inches and/or 17.2 cm.
