Drop Ceiling Clip/Hanger

Drop Ceiling Clip/Hanger

We recently took over a retail outlet in need of a solution to hang signs from the ceiling. The clips that were available were extremely costly, making them nearly unaffordable. During lunch at Timmy's (Tim Hortons), I caught sight of how they promoted their donut special, and upon reviewing my blurry cell phone photo, an idea began to form. After some contemplation and discussion in the R&D department, we came up with a prototype. Two iterations later, our solution was complete. Our design requires flexibility, which is why ABS is the recommended material. PLA is too inflexible and prone to breaking. To open the clip, simply pinch it, then slide it over the 1" T-bar rail. Release your grip, and the job is done!
