Drop ceiling cable guide holder
thingiverse
I volunteer at my son's elementary school and discovered that several teachers were eager to have their belongings relocated. After reviewing a couple of designs, I found these layouts to be particularly useful. To ensure a seamless integration with the existing tiles and tracks, I printed them in white PLA, allowing them to blend in seamlessly. Next, I carefully threaded the wires into the printed pieces and securely fastened them onto the tracks, achieving a smooth setup. It's essential to maintain a high infill percentage when designing these clips, ideally around 30% or more. This is crucial because if you flex the clip slightly as you attach it to the track, it may snap if the infill is too low. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of printing some with an infill of only 15%, and all of them snapped in half. I assured the teacher that I would return the next day with sturdier clips.
