Human: Designed by Shina and Matthijs for 3D printing, this innovative project originated in Amsterdam at ICT in de Wolken in 2015. The duo created a comprehensive model of a droogmakerij, along with separate models of water during both summer and winter seasons. Their primary goal was to assist a geography teacher in illustrating the underlying concepts. To achieve an authentic look, they utilized paint and nail polish to color their design, making it feasible to incorporate real water into the model if needed. The ICT in de Wolken initiative is a collaborative effort between three Montessori high schools in Amsterdam, aiming to provide advanced learning opportunities for high school students who seek more challenge within their existing ICT education. This project has garnered support from universities and various national and international companies. With a focus on education, the ICT in de Wolken 3D-printing project strives to inspire and educate.
