DroneONE 95mm
thingiverse
I aimed to craft a fun flyer that could withstand the rigors of being airborne in local parks. The design had to be compact and robust, capable of withstanding minor impacts without sustaining damage. To achieve this goal, I centered the frame around the Tattu 2S 450mAh battery (SKU: A-75C-450-2S1P-L-XT30), utilizing 2-inch props and 1103 motors. Upgrading to 1104 or 1106 motors would be a straightforward process. Printing with Taulman 910 filament is highly recommended due to its exceptional durability compared to ABS. The entire drone can be printed within two hours, consisting of a single print for the main frame and separate prints for the motor mounts and camera mount. However, the camera mount proved to be slightly soft, necessitating the addition of a rubber band for added stability. Despite this minor issue, DroneOne remains an entertaining flyer capable of bouncing off trees and continuing to fly.
