Drone Landing Pad

Print out the Box and the Lid. The rest are just renderings of the Arduino and ultrasonic sensors that will be utilized. This was a project for my Automation & Control class. My group of electronics majors created this drone landing pad, designed specifically for package delivery drones. Our idea is to provide these drones with a designated spot to land when delivering packages. To restrict the landing pad to certain types of drones, we employed LED lights that signal the drone whether it's accepted or rejected. For those familiar with drones, we used a DJI Spark to conduct pilot tests and a Parrot Mambo for our demonstration video.
