I've always been fascinated by drones and have dreamed of building one from scratch. For a long time, I thought it was impossible due to their high cost, but that just motivated me to take matters into my own hands. So, I set out to design a custom drone frame that would make it easy for anyone to build one. My goal was to create a simple and efficient design that could accommodate all the electrical components seamlessly. Underneath the hood of my drone, there will be a sophisticated receiver system that handles signal reception from the controller. Four wires will extend from this system to each arm, connecting them directly to the powerful motors mounted on the ends. A fifth wire will connect to an advanced antenna, which will protrude through a carefully designed hole in the hood to maximize the drone's range and reception quality. To power my creation, I've included a high-capacity battery storage compartment at the bottom of the frame that connects directly to the receiver system. - By Vihaan Jain, Age 10
