Drone Borg Drones are the most basic Borg ground force. Compared to those encountered in the 24th Century, the players encounter a different kind of Borg. They seem to have evolved into a more integrated cybernetic life form. Implants are more tightly integrated into the bodies. However these Borg do not demonstrate any noticeable differences in behavior or abilities than their predecessors. Medical Drone Medical Drones are Borg specialized to assimilate other species. They inject enemies with Nanites and heal other Borg drones in their vicinity. Tactical Drone Tactical Drones are more resilient and powerful Borg than the usual drones. The player may encounter two variants of these enemies: "Classic" Tactical Drones These Borg are attacking Vega Colony in the mission “Assimilation”. They are upgraded versions of the Borg Starfleet encountered in the late 24th century. "Modern" Tactical Drones In later missions the player will meet these updated drones.
