Dromaeosaur skull cast
sketchfab
Dromaeosaurs sprinted across the landscape on two powerful legs, their speed a testament to their exceptional agility. Like their close relatives, the raptors, Dromaeosaurs boasted razor-sharp claws on their second toes, perfectly designed for swift and deadly strikes. Their elongated heads housed a surprisingly large brain and keen eyesight, while their sharp, curved fangs were always at the ready to seize prey. A unique feature of these formidable predators was the pair of long, slender rods embedded in their tails, which served as an internal stabilizer, providing them with precise balance and control. Roaming what would eventually become North America, Asia, and parts of Europe during the Cretaceous period, Dromaeosaurs earned their name - "running lizard" - for their incredible speed and agility.
