This DC Power Supply Mounting Plate for the DROK DC Car Power Supply Voltage Regulator Buck Converter available on Amazon was originally designed for use under a Mendelmax-style printer bed but its versatility knows no bounds. To power my new Kapton heatbed, I installed a 24-volt power supply and still required 12 volts to drive my MEDs and extruder heater. To achieve this balance, the regulator's output was tweaked after it had been fed with a 24V input; this clever arrangement produces precisely the right voltage for every component - 12V to be exact - giving me peace of mind that all systems are functioning smoothly. Included in this mounting plate package is a design created using Designspark Mechanical software, ready for immediate use. Four M3-6 or M3-8 screws with matching nuts are needed to securely attach the regulator board itself while two M5-6 and T-nuts ensure stable positioning underneath any given frame structure.
