A Motorola Droid X phone can easily clip into a regular Garmin Nuvi GPS windshield mount, as Google Navigation provides real-time traffic and better routing than the Garmin. Therefore, there is no need to purchase a $30 windshield mount if you already have one for your Nuvi. The device simply slides onto the phone and clips into the Garmin mount like a GPS would. It has been tested with Garmin Nuvi 200w and 205w mounts, which are likely identical to many other Garmins. For use, print the adapter, slide it onto your phone, and ensure a tight fit; if needed, users can sand or file down the area where the phone fits according to their printer setup. The printing process takes approximately 65 minutes with the given settings on an HP printer.
