Droid Turbo Tripod Mount

This is a custom tripod mount designed specifically for use with my old Motorola Droid Turbo, now relegated to secondary status after its camera capabilities were eclipsed by newer models. The phone boasts an impressive camera system, making it an attractive option for capturing video on the go. I wanted to unlock its full potential and give myself another way to film without being limited to my primary device. The design requires a simple 1/4"-20 nut to be securely fastened into the slot above the tripod mount hole, providing a solid anchor that keeps everything in place. Once the phone is inserted into the mount, gravity takes over, holding it firmly in position. This project is still a work in progress; I'm currently developing an upgraded version with a built-in retainer that will keep the phone snugly in place even when mounted at extreme angles, ensuring stability and peace of mind during filming sessions.
