Droid Depot Astromech Replacement Idler Wheel Set

I love my Droid Depot Astromech, but I wasn't wild how it sounded rolling on my hardwood floors. I was also concerned how well the plastic wheels would wear over time. So I made up some wheels I could print out in TPU. The result wasn't too much quieter, but I feel that these will wear better over time. Plus, I (and now you!) can print replacements as needed. The third leg wheel and the tires can be printed without supports with your favorite brand of flex filament. I used Sainsmart TPU without any issue. The hubs will require supports and I printed mine with ASA for durability and ease of post print processing. Tolerances between the tires and hubs are snug. You will likely need the assistance of a small screwdriver or something flat to help stretch the tire over. Warming the tire with hot water could help.
