Driving Force Gt Quick Release 70mm adapter
prusaprinters
I remixed the original stl file in order to be usable for any sim wheel that uses the standard 70mm bolt pattern for mounting, hole diameters are 5mm but they might need to be drilled depending on printer settings (still have the original holes present to provide more options). The differences between the 3 files: -70mm_adapter.stl : 10 mm base thickness, if the other models prove to be too weak -70mm_adapter_thin.stl: 5mm base thickness -70adapter_thin_moved.stl: 5mm base, on the other files the threaded part is centered to the center of the triangle which looked odd for some reason so on this one I moved it up a couple of millimeters (shouldn't make much of a difference) Note: I only printed the 70adapter_thin_moved.stl so far and the supports on the outside proved a little hard to remove and I had to sand the threads a bit to not have a too tight fit (probably caused by my print settings). Also since I'm still waiting for the parts for my 3d printed wheel I plan to use this for I couldn't test the fitment for 70mm mounting part (since it's just 3 holes at an equal distance it shouldn't be an issue really) Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 200 Infill: 20 Filament: Generic PLA Notes: You definitely need supports and I would also recommend a raft/brim if you tend to have an issue with warping, otherwise print at 0.2 layer height but 0.28-0.3 should also be fine.
