This character emerged as a reinterpretation of the original "Drive" novel by James Sallis, with a deliberate twist to transport him to the vibrant era of the 1930s. I set out to reimagine this character's life, shifting his focus from the glamorous world of Hollywood stunts to a more rugged existence within a traveling carnival, where death-defying feats and daring acts were the norm.
