Driver Bit Storage

Driver Bit Storage

In a phase of decluttering my workspace, I'm getting rid of tool cases since I no longer need them for packing up to go to the jobsite. Instead, I fill my pockets with necessary items and head out. Similar to my Router Bit Drawer Storage, I created Driver Bit Storage, discarding boxes, clips, and rubber holders in the process. I made a magnetic block holder using 3/4 BD plywood for the back and 3/4" x 1 1/2" poplar sticks for the holders, as they were my available scrap materials. The poplar sticks and bottom bevels were cut on the tablesaw, while the router handled the rest of the work. I glued 3mm x 10mm magnets into both the back and holders, alternating N and S poles to prevent upside-down placement. The project required two backs and six holders for proper fitment, but the magnetic design ensures easy removal and snap-back in place without friction. For those using Vectric Aspire, I can provide my files upon request, with adjustments necessary based on individual materials and tooling.
