Driver Bit Adapter
thingiverse
Thing is a light duty driver bit adapter that can be used with a 1/4" ratchet, a 15mm wrench or with finger and thumb wrench. It occurs to me that I should have put a solid end on the finger wrench in order to be able to put pressure on the bit. I will add that file soon. Obviously this isn't going to stand up to too much stress. I printed with 100% infill, but I'm sure it will fail if abused. I printed in PLA... maybe something stronger is in order. ABS? I printed with support but you can probably get away without it. I found that the 1/4" recess was pretty snug for the ratchet, but after a number of insertions it loosened up just fine. A 6mm x 1.5mm magnet can be superglued into the hex recess if you want to get fancy. Update: I've added a "lipped" version of the thumb wrench. The lip will prevent the hex adapter from passing out the back of the wrench body and still leave enough access to push the adapter forward to extract it. Designed in Fusion 360.
