I'm excited to share my DIY project with you! I used a sweet 1950s-style drive-in speaker that fits perfectly on my 4" speaker from Insignia's Best Buy indoor outdoor speaker sets. To make this happen, I also included some tripod parts that let me hook up my speakers to a projector and screen outdoors. Now, here's the fun part: building the tripods! You'll need both top and bottom rings, plus three sets of those fancy 3-piece legs. Then, just connect everything with some 1/4" or 10mm bolts. The legs are designed to fold up, kind of like a drum stand. I used 2" PVC pipe painted silver for the main support – it looks super cool! The top parts are actually speaker boxes that I welded directly onto my speakers. It's a pretty sweet setup if I do say so myself!
