Drive cage for HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini

My HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini has two NVMe drives installed. According to the installation instructions, the additional installation of a SATA drive was not possible. This is because there is not enough space to install the second NVMe drive in conjunction with the cage. If you remove the metal cage and replace it with this cage, you can install 2x NVMe and a SATA hard drive. The only drawback is that the second hard drive cannot be reinstalled due to the lack of space. Therefore, I would not recommend installing a spinning disk due to potential lack of cooling capacity. Printing Recommendation: I used PLA because it was just mounted on the 3d printer. However, it is not very durable in terms of heat. I would therefore rather recommend ASA. The cage was printed as it would be installed in the G5. Use support when printing, because the sockets for the screws are on the bottom. Installation instructions: 1. Remove the existing case (Unplug SATA cable and fan!) 2. Remove the SATA adapter from the cage 3. Insert the SATA drive with the attached SATA adapter into the cage. No screws are needed. 4. Install the printed cage by reusing the two screws that were also used for the metal cage without attaching the back of the cage as a stand sits on top of the CMOS battery. 5. Reconnect the SATA cable. 6. Start PC, call BIOS 7. Enable SATA: Advanced > Port options > SATA 0 The only disadvantage you will have if you don't install the fan is that from now on you will always be informed about the absence of the system fan when you start your PC. This alert cannot be disabled in BIOS or couldn't find this option. As a workaround, I ordered a PWM fan simultor hoping this will work around the problem, because the message cannot even be confirmed from Intel MT but only from console.
