Drip Tray for SimpleHuman ST1023 Automatic Soap Dispenser
thingiverse
Every now and then, I inadvertently trigger the sensor twice, resulting in a soap puddle forming on the countertop. To prevent this mess from spreading, I use a small drip tray to contain it, keeping the battery compartment at the bottom of the pump safe and dry. Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: AO-101 Rafts: No Supports: No Notes: I print my objects with MG Chemicals black 3mm ABS, setting the nozzle to 220°C and the bed to 120°C. Before printing, I always apply two coats of hair spray to the build plate, which helps minimize warping. Post-Printing Sanding The top surface is a bit rough, so I sand it down with some 220-grit sandpaper to smooth out the finish. Washing Next, I wash the object under hot running water and use a denture brush to remove any remaining debris. Anti-skid feed To keep my objects securely in place on the countertop, I add four stick-on rubber anti-skid feet to the bottom. This also allows for airflow underneath, preventing mold from growing.
