The concept remains unproven for now. In theory, a standard 6mm 32-gauge insulin needle, used in conjunction with an insulin pen, could be trimmed down and incorporated into this two-part design to achieve a precise 1 GPH flow rate for nursery drip lines. To ensure a secure fit, the inner nozzle should feature threaded connections compatible with these needles. A person familiar with diabetic care often has access to these disposable needles. Nonetheless, be cautious when utilizing them, as there is a risk of contamination from blood-borne pathogens or plant-related pathogens; in this case, needle sterilization can mitigate risks associated with contaminated or compromised units.
