Drip irrigation
thingiverse
Adapters for a 1/4" OD aluminum tube which I threaded M7x1 on both ends. This is to reach over a sidewalk and water plants from a drip irrigation system. Enlarge holes with a drill if needed and then "cold form" the threads using a SS bolt, friction melts the plastic and this produces stronger threads. Cut the ball (see pic) so the bolt squeezes ball closed and clamps the aluminum tube. All the hose barbs are printed on the bed so they need a brim and probably changing the nozzle paving width to get a strong print. ABS requires a small amount of part cooling, with lots of fan cooling the layers have no strength and the barb will break off. Lastly the other printed female threads are 10-32 for attaching to the Raindrip sprayer parts. Designed in fusion 360 and printed on a cr10s pro with a duet2 electronics
