Version 1 of the Drip Emitter is specifically designed for use with pots featuring a hole at the bottom, allowing excess water to drain freely into a reservoir via a length of tubing attached securely to the Bolt. To set up this system, begin by placing an empty pot in position. Next, insert the Bolt into the pre-drilled hole located at the bottom of the pot and secure it firmly from within by tightening the Nut onto the Bolt. From there, connect a substantial piece of tubing to the outer end of the Bolt, directing its flow towards a large container or reservoir where excess water will collect safely. The Drip Emitter V1 can also be used to convert any standard pot with a hole at the bottom into a fully functional circulating hydroponics system. To accomplish this, simply connect the 3Dponics Siphon or Venturi to an air pump and place it into the reservoir, then attach a piece of tubing that brings water directly up to the plant roots.
