Drinks Bottle Carrier
thingiverse
This is an adapter that allows most standard small plastic bottles to be carried via a lanyard or similar attachment. The design was based on an idea seen in a charity shop, but unfortunately, the shop version only worked with their range of (highly priced) bottles, making it uneconomical for widespread use. To assemble the adapter, you simply print out two matching halves and secure them together using two M3 x 12mm screws and nuts. The third hole is designed to accommodate a key-ring loop that can be connected to a lanyard for easy carrying. The design file is available in FREECAD format, making it easily customizable to fit specific needs. For optimal printing results, use a resolution of 0.1mm and an infill percentage of 20%. Additionally, consider adding a brim to prevent lifting of the corners during the printing process. I constructed my adapter from PLA material. Remember to print a mirror image of the STL file for the matching half to ensure proper assembly.
