3D Printed Drinking Straw Setup Print Settings: Printer: Velleman K8200 Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.02 mm Infill: 100% Notes: I created a sturdy base with a 10mm brim to ensure a tight fit. Post-Printing Finishing Process: After printing, I employed my drill for sanding the straw's inside and outside surfaces, making sure they were silky smooth. The inner surface proved a bit finicky, but its perfect finish made it well worth the extra effort. Once completely sanded, I immersed the straw in acetone to smooth out any remaining imperfections and achieve complete water tightness. Following a thorough drying period, I meticulously applied a spiral design to the straw's exterior and then returned it to the acetone for an indelible bond. It is essential to allow ample time – preferably overnight – before putting your newly crafted straw to use.
