When I make boxes out of acrylic sheet or bent metal, I often need to add holes. 3D printing is a convenient way to position holes, using a 3D printed template. This template is for drilling ventiation holes that allow airflow for a cooling fan. It has "wings" to allow clamping to the workpiece. With careful use it can be reused many times.
