Plates are drawn with sharp lines on the edges of boards measuring 2.5; 5; 7.5; 7.5; 9.5; 10.5 cm, equivalent to standard board thicknesses of 5 mm, 10 mm, 15 mm, 19 mm and 21 mm respectively. Small modules are created for drilling directly into the center of each board edge.
