Drilling jig Aluminium profile 20
cults3d
It's challenging to work accurately on aluminum profiles and drilling in particular when trying to connect or join elements together. That's why I'm providing a reliable set of templates that have been tested and proven effective. Simply print out the templates you need and assemble either an M3 nut or an M5 nut by following these steps. The drillings are designed to be tapped into M3 or M5 (Ø2,5 for M3 and Ø4,2 for M5) because the nuts will guide the drill and their Ø is already adapted. With this set, you can easily work with aluminum profiles in 20x20, 20x40, and 20x60 dimensions. The templates include: * 20x20: One M5 center nut * 20x20: Two M3 eccentric nuts, spaced 25.2mm apart * 20x40: One M5 center nut * 20x40: Two M3 center nuts, spaced 25.2mm apart * 20x40: Two M5 center nuts, spaced 20mm apart * 20x60: Two M3 eccentric nuts, spaced 20mm apart and 25.2mm apart * 20x60: Three M5 center nuts, spaced 20mm apart The clamping handle requires an M5 tap to be inserted into the jig before attaching a CHC M5 screw. For optimal results, use self-tapping screws if possible. If you download this batch, I can create custom templates tailored to your specific needs upon request.
