As my university project's first model demonstrates, milling machines, vertical drills, and normal drills have varying costs and efficiencies. For 300,000 workpieces, using 14 regular drill chucks is faster and more cost-effective than milling or vertical drilling. Please share your thoughts on this approach; I appreciate any input. The design features a male groove on the bush plate and a female groove on the shaft. By hand, one can easily insert the workpiece due to its 5mm flange thickness, ensuring operator safety.
