Drill Template, Jig, or Fixture for 3dverkstan Clear Shields - US Letter 6 Hole
thingiverse
For the six-hole US Letter variant of the 3DVerkstan face shield, create a template or jig that can clamp over an entire stack of transparencies or other sheets you're using and drill holes with a drill press or power drill instead of punching them in small stacks. If you have a bandsaw, cut off corners in a full stack as well. This will enable you to finish 100 shields in about five minutes without touching any of them. My hole punch measured 0.270 inches diameter holes, so I used a seventeen-sixty-fourth brad point drill bit. A quarter inch will probably work just fine too. Drill slowly to avoid melting sheets together. You'll need a 300 mm print bed to print the full sheet version. There's also a half-sheet version that should print in 150 mm, but I haven't tested this one yet. Please let me know if there are any issues or feel free to remix.
