The initial concept was built upon commercial market products, yet its functionality fell short of expectations. I made a conscious decision to iterate on this design, incorporating an additional linear bearing into the guide rail to facilitate seamless motion and smooth operation. This strategic modification proved essential in eliminating jerky movements, resulting in a much-improved user experience.
