Which were, in this case, a 3D Printer, a (digital) dial indicator in the dimensions of the Harbor Freight model, and some 1/2" round steel bar stock.</p> <p>I couldn't find anything fitting the bill for this on Thingiverse already. The thickness of the piece helps hold everything steady and prevent deflection.</p> <h3> How I Designed This</h3> <p>Sketchup, in this case, although you could use anything you're comfortable with that'll produce the through-holes reliably.</p>
