I am designing a system that enables me to utilize an 80mm Car COB LED Angel Eyes Lights Halo Ring Kit to illuminate the table of my drill press. The 80mm light will perfectly fit around the drill chuck, providing optimal illumination. My trusty drill press is approximately 40 years old and had a pre-existing hole for installing a light. However, an incandescent bulb seemed woefully inadequate and was likely placed in the wrong location. By using this ring light, I can shine a bright beam of light directly onto the table, illuminating every detail. To mount this new lighting system, I drilled two holes to secure the cover over the existing light hole. The cover is large enough to replace the original one seamlessly.
