Drill Press Feed Handle

Drill Press Feed Handle

thingiverse

This is a custom feed handle designed by my 9-year-old son in Fusion 360, pushing his skills to the limit as he learned to harness the power of this software and our 3D printer to create something truly practical. Modeling M8x1.25 threads was a challenge that required patience, but it paid off with impressive results - and running a tap through them takes perfection to the next level. The threads don't extend all the way down, which means over-tightening won't risk snapping off the top cap, a common issue with the original drill press feed handle. I'm blown away by how well this turned out, making me an incredibly proud dad. Check it out in action here: https://youtu.be/Lz1jVUoYWxY Print Details: Printer: Rostock Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 15%
