Drill Press Dust Collection

I created a holder for my drill press that holds a 2.5-inch hose in place while drilling. This holder allows me to mount it directly onto my drill press for efficient dust collection. The swivel mechanism enables the holder to rotate freely, accommodating any angle I need. A nylon washer positioned between the two parts of the mount achieves this flexibility. Holding everything together is a 1/4-20 bolt with multiple washers and a locknut, applying just the right amount of tension so it doesn't move on its own. The hose attachment uses three 2-inch long 1/4-20 bolts paired with small knobs I already had available. To replicate this setup, you'll need three 1/4-20 by 2-inch bolts, two regular 1/4-inch washers and one nylon washer, along with a 1/4-inch locknut. You can opt to use the same knobs I did or substitute them with additional 1/4-inch nuts if preferred. The only other piece required is a large enough hose clamp that fits snugly around the drill press column - I found a 2.5-inch one worked perfectly for my needs.
