I constructed the second iteration of my drill press, determined to rectify its predecessor's stiff movement issues. The initial model was hampered by a lack of smoothness, so I made significant improvements in version two. Like the previous one, this latest incarnation relies on sturdy aluminum 10mm x 10mm profiles for its framework. This time around, however, I opted for superior 623ZZ ball bearings to enhance performance and accuracy. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the results of this revised design.
